1902 – 1907
Taurina was an Italian automotive manufacturer based in Turin with operations in 1902 through 1907. Taurinia was one of the first automobile factory in Italy. It produced only a single vehicle using an engine a 1-cylinder De Dion & Boutonengine with 9.5 hp and took three years to build the car. The founder of this company, Giuseppe Alby, won in a few contests with the car.
In 1905, the new model called the 10/12 hp with a 4-cylinder engine, consisting of a two Fafnir engine blocks was presented. This model was successfully used in races. Shortly thereafter, the stronger 14/18 HP model appeared, with a self-developed 3054 cc 4-cylinder engine. This engine also consisted of two engine blocks and had a lateral camshaft. The vehicle had shaft drive and could reach 65 km/h. In 1908 the factory was closed.
