Ladetto & Blatto was founded in 1927 by the Emilio Ladetto and Giovanni Ladetto brothers and the great designer Angelo Blatto. In addition to designing machines for other other companies, they produced motorcycle engines with two-and four-stroke of 132 to 247 cc. Blatto left in 1930, and production continued under the name Ladetto. In 1932 the first rear suspension appeared, but production ended that year.
The two-stroke 125 cc engines, with change in bulk two-speed, no clutch, were built in 1926 by brothers Emilio and John Ladetto in Turin. In 1927, they presented at the Salone di Torino show as Ladetto & Blatto, which included three engines, a 175 cc two-stroke bicycle motor with distribution valves in the head and block Atre transmission, a 132 cc two-stroke Atre transmission, a 175 cc two-stroke with the same characteristics. At the end of 1927, they also built a 250 cc engine with side valves and a three-speed transmission. In 1928 they are also presented models with 175 and 250 cc. In 1929 they built a 175 cc with side valves.
In 1930, Blatto retired from the Company and the production continued with only the Ladetto name. The first motorcycle with the new brand is a 175 cc engine with a valve in the head and a Albion three speed transmission. In 1932 they added a swinging rear swingarm which was controlled by means of a telescopic shock absorber and helical springs. The engine was a 175 cc with valves in the head and a gearbox with three speeds.
