1976 - 1977
Zanzani was a historic brand of motorcycles manufacturer founded by the Italian ex-driver Primo Zanzani built in 1976 and 1977 and built some reasonably successful racers. His first model, a 500-cc twin cylinder two-stroke, came in fourth in the 1976 Italian championship behind the Suzuki's Giacomo Agostini, Marco Lucchinelli and Virginio Ferrari. The machines in 1977, 400 and 500 cc performance bikes, were based on the Yamaha RD 400.
