1899 – 1903
Bender & Martiny was an Italian automotive manufacturer based in Turin with operations from 1899 through 1903. The factory started the assembly of French and German automobiles. One example was the "Orient Express" by the manufacturer Bergmann. In 1900 the company started building their own models with the Gaillardet and De Dion engines with outputs from 3 to 6 hp. These three-wheeled vehicles were produced in limited numbers under the brand name of Perfecta. In 1903 the manufacturing of vehicles was stopped. Carlo Mantovani was the technical manager of the factory who bought it and changed its name to Mantovani Carlo & Co. and continue to put forth these cars until 1906 under the brand name of Invicta.
