SIVA 1907, Barison 1922 – 1925
SIVA 1907
The engineer Silvio Barison founded the company, SIVA (Società Italiana Vetture Automobili) in 1907 in Milan, which was dissolved after a short time.
Barison 1922 - 1925
In 1922 Barison designed a rotary engine for which he even received a patent. In the same year he founded with the help of financiers in Livorno, the company (Fabbrica Automobili Barison & C.). However, only a single car was designed and built with a 4-cylinder engine. By 1925, approximately 20 copies of that vehicle would be created but without a body. The company then was acquired by the company Montano. Montano was only active in the metal industry and had no interest in the automotive industry.
