Carrozzeria Santori, located in Grottammare, Ascoli Piceno, was responsible for self-repair when, in 1949, a customer asked the owner Alfredo Santori and his son Emilio Beri to turn an old car into a hearse. The work was good and this new activity replaced all the work of the previous year. In the fifty the company was among the leading manufacturers in this niche industry.
